Community Christian Academy

School Board

The school board of Community Christian Academy plays a crucial role in guiding the institution to fulfill its mission of providing a Christ-centered education that promotes both academic excellence and spiritual growth. Composed of dedicated members committed to the school's values and principles, the board ensures that every decision and policy aligns with these foundational goals. They work diligently to create an environment where students can excel academically and develop personally within a supportive, faith-based community.

Functioning as the governing body, the school board oversees the strategic direction and long-term vision of Community Christian Academy. They collaborate with the administration to develop and implement policies, manage resources responsibly, and maintain high standards for education and student welfare. Key responsibilities include approving budgets, evaluating curricula, and hiring staff, all while preserving the school's Christian ethos. By fostering a strong partnership with parents, teachers, and the wider community, the board ensures that students are well-prepared to become compassionate, knowledgeable, and faithful individuals ready to make a positive impact in the world.

The CCA School Board meets approximately 10 times a year, on the second Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m., when feasible.  Most board meetings begin with an open session where stakeholders are welcome for presentation and discussion before the meeting enters into a closed session for business.  To confirm dates for CCA School Board meetings, and to be added to the agenda for open session, contact Kim Hadden (khadden@ccaaugusta.com).
